Protein Treatment Instructions

1. Deep Cleanse the Hair

   Before applying the protein, wash the hair thoroughly with a strong clarifying shampoo to deeply remove oils, buildup, product residue, and impurities.

   We recommend using Cylia Clarifying Shampoo for optimal hair preparation before the protein application.

2. Towel Dry

   Towel-dry the hair until it is semi-dry.

3. Apply the Product

   Divide the hair into sections and apply the product evenly from roots to ends. Leave it on for 60–75 minutes, depending on the hair type and density.

4. Partial Rinse

   After the recommended time, do not place the hair directly under running water.

   Instead, use a water spray bottle to lightly mist the hair several times until it becomes approximately 50% wet.

   Then, remove the excess product using your hands or a comb, while evenly distributing the moisture throughout the hair.

5. Blow-Dry

   Blow-dry the hair until it is approximately 90% dry.

6. Flat Iron

   Use a professional high-temperature flat iron specifically designed and suitable for protein hair straightening.

   Pass over each section 6–10 times, depending on the hair type, density, and curl level, to achieve optimal straightening, smoothness, and shine.

7. Final Wash & Aftercare

   Allow the hair to cool completely, then wash thoroughly using sulfate-free hair care products.
